Is butter good for you? Now, at least for me, that’s become a good question to ask. But, in order to answer that question, we have to have something to compare butter with. Let’s compare butter versus margarine.

What is butter?
One churns (stirs or agitates) milk or cream long enough and you come up with butter. Butter comes from cows’ milk usually, and machines are used to churn the milk or cream until it turns to butter. Assuming the butter is organic, that’s it. No further “ingredients” to make it last longer on the shelf. Or some ingredient used for coloring to make it look yellow.
Are we playing a game of chance with the oils we consume? And if so, which oils?
I’ve been studying about fats in a cookbook called Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon with Mary G. Enig, Ph.D. There are different kinds of fats, and the book discusses whether or not saturated fats are good for you.
Saturated fat is a fat that is naturally full up with hydrogen atoms such that it’s stable for the body to consume [more at Answers.com]. Bear with me on this hydrogen thing.
Saturated fat most often comes from animals and is solid at room temperature. Examples of saturated fat would be fat from a Spencer stake, ground beef, chicken, turkey or bacon, butter — and tropical oils, like coconut oil.
I’ve been going on and on about making organic ice cream and my wife found a section in a recent purchase of a cookbook that gives what I feel is important data to all you ice cream lovers. My wife recently purchased this cookbook so that I could learn more about how to cook better or to cook different things and vary our diet. I can definitely see her viewpoint. Our diet is going to be as diverse as possible and as organic as possible.
It’s hard for me to believe that someone would decide for me that mercury in silver fillings are okay … well, here we have that authoritarian “we don’t think it will harm you” adjudication again. But they’re apparently not addressing the issue of mercury poisoning.
Mercury is highly toxic, poisonous and inimical to our bodies. When I had all the silver/mercury tooth fillings taken out, I had an upsurge of energy. My ears stopped ringing. I did better physically. So don’t tell me that small amounts of poison won’t adversely affect me.
I’d wondered (before we got our ice cream maker) just how to make organic ice cream. Given that you have a method of making ice cream — that is, turning ingredients into ice cream — it’s not difficult at all. The main issue is getting the organic ingredients.
We’ve been using organic ingredients to make our ice cream — which includes agave as a sweetener (see my article entitled Organic Agave: the honey substitute). I have to say that it’s just delicious. Of course, you could use honey instead or –gasp!– sugar; it’s your choice and we’re not here to dictate what anyone can eat. I will say that, if you use agave, you won’t feel the need for sugar.
The question “Why eat organic food?” is a good one. The main reason, in broad terms, is to foster in the body what we call homeostatic “intelligence” — where “homeostasis” is that state where every vital biological process within a living organism is functioning to create a state of perfectly balanced wellness.
Simply put, organic foods work more efficiently toward restoring and maintaining balance and homeostasis in people who consume them rather than foods that are fed chemicals and harvested from the resulting barren soil.

Each transaction is validated and copied in the ledger as in any financial service anywhere in the world. The difference here is that the ledger here is distributed across different nodes and each node has a record of the transaction. The transactions are verified and validated and no one can access the information. This makes these currencies more secure than anything else in the world. Each transaction or the block is controlled by everyone in the blockchain. The peer to peer network helps in a decentralized control and that is a great feature of this system. One part may be controlled by someone in Africa and another one in South East Asia. This is the real global currency and the industry has grown due to the amazing pace of increase in the value in these coins. You can start trading with this amazing robot or use the more complex mining process, but you must have a digital wallet.
